Cyrielle is Myjanou's favorite older sister. While Myjanou isn't entirely sure when they first met, she is certain that Cyrielle has always stood by her side, often physically and often poking her.

Aileen

Bridesmaid

 

Aileen is currently applying to become Myjanou's sister. That she has never poked or borrowed shoes from Myjanou makes Aileen one of the most promising of candidates.

Sigride

Sigride is Myjanou's favorite younger sister. When Sigride was first brought home from the hospital, little Myjanou asked her mom, "Who's that?" to which her mom replied, "Your sister." They've been sisters ever since.

Dan

Best Man

 

Dan and James first met in homeroom in the 7th grade when James was almost killed by Dan's wayward yo-yo. They've been friends ever since.

 

In 2001, Dan took James to his first Red Sox game, which sparked his passion for baseball.

 

They were roommates for two years after college, but they got so sick of each other that Dan had to move as far away as possible, which, as it turned out, was Turkey. But now they're reunited again, and yes, it does feel so good!

Bruce

Bruce was introduced to James at a New Year's Eve party shorty after Bruce moved to Boston from Middle America. Despite their height difference and facial hair disparity, they took an immediate liking to each other. They quickly connected over their similar tastes in films and games, but some say that it is their similar temperament that ultimately solidified their bond.

 

Bruce also makes a mighty mean berry cobbler!

Liwei

Liwei is James' cousin. They first met when James visited China in 1994. To finally have a relative of the same gender and age was a dream-come-true for young James. They spent most of their brief time together playing on a Game Boy.

 

When Liwei immigrated to the US in 2007, he and James spent most of their time together playing Diablo II. Some things never change!
